L’église de Céret fut construite entre 1723 et 1779 sur l’emplacement d’une ancienne église romane. Le portail ( de 1398 et en marbre rose de Céret) et le clocher sont les vestiges de cette ancienne église romane. Cette église a plusieurs style, pré-roman, roman, gothique et baroque.
