De grands hommes ont vécu ici, parmi eux, de grands artistes peintres Roussillonais. Martin Vivés né en 1905 à Prades et l’un d’entre eux. La commune ayant reçu en donation ses œuvres a décidé d’aménager un espace d’exposition dans un bâtiment patrimonial, restauré par la ville en 2014.
Attention : durant les expositions temporaires, les collections permanentes ne sont pas exposées.
