About
Straddling the Eastern Pyrenees and the Aude, the Gorges de Galamus are among the most remarkable geological curiosities of the department. Born at the foot of the pech of Bugarach, the Agly river is embedded in the rock by "scouring" the walls on 5 km.

Gorges de l’Agly · Protected site (1927)
Between Fenouillèdes and Corbières, the Agly has carved a narrow passage through the limestone: a dizzying road cut in the late 19th century, pools of clear water and, clinging to the cliff, the Saint-Antoine hermitage.
